The Directorate of Education, UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu under Samagra Shiksha, a Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS), invites applications from the eligible candidates to engage Primary and Upper Primary School Teachers purely on Short Term Contract (STC) Basis for Government Schools on a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 22,000/(Twenty Two Thousand Only) for Primary and Rs. 23,000/- (Twenty Three A Thousand Only) for Upper Primary Schools.

Education and Qualification
- Primary Teacher:
- Senior Secondary (class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
- Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
- Senior Secondary Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education.
- Graduation and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor.Education (B. Ed.)
- The candidate should have studied in the concerned medium at the Secondary level.
- Note: Not Applicable for language subjects Gujarati/ Marathi/Hindi/ English etc.
- Upper Primary Teacher:
- B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. and 2 years Diploma Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
- B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with atleast 50% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
- B.A. /B.Sc./B.Com, with atleast 45% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) Not exceeding 30 Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
- Senior Secondary (Class XII Pass) with atleast 50% Note: The upper marks and 04 years Bachelor in Elementary age limit is Education (B.El.Ed.)
- Senior Secondary (Class XII Pass) with atleast 50% | Orders/instruct marks and 04 years B.A. Ed./ B.Sc. Ed./B.Com. Ed.
- B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed Government (Special Education)
- The candidate should have studied in the concerned medium at the Secondary level.

Salary
Monthly remuneration of Rs. 22,000/(Twenty Two Thousand Only) for Primary and Rs. 23,000/- (Twenty Three A Thousand Only) for Upper Primary Schools.
